Registration terms
These terms apply when you open a NEXTUK Consultant account or buy a service. Last updated 14 October 2026.
NEXTUK Consultant provides virtual office addresses, letter handling, company formation support, Companies House filings, and accountancy options. The buildings are listed on the Offices page. These terms, together with the order you confirm at checkout, are the agreement between you and us.
1. Opening an account
- You must be 18 or over, and the details you give us must be accurate. Tell us when your name, email, phone, company, or forwarding address changes.
- We email an account ID and a generated password. You can sign in with the account ID or the email on the account, plus that password. Keep them private. We are not responsible for use of the account by someone you have shared them with.
- Creating an account opens a welcome ticket. Buying a service is a separate step, and other dashboard tools stay locked until an address service has been paid for.
- An order is placed through the checkout on this website. A service that an administrator has switched off stays visible but cannot be selected.
2. How long a service lasts
- An address service runs for twelve months from the date the order is paid, then renews annually if you continue it.
- Where a new company is being formed, paid services stay switched off until the identity check is approved. The twelve months still start on the payment date.
- An extra added part-way through the year ends on the same renewal date as the address service it belongs to.
- Prices on the site can be changed before you pay. The price you are charged is the price shown in the order summary at payment.
3. Using an office address
- A purchased address is a limited right to use that building for the purpose you bought: a registered office, a director service address, or business correspondence. It is not a tenancy, and it does not include a private room or a right to collect post in person.
- Do not tell anyone that you or the company have a physical office or a home at the building. Do not give the address to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, or to a similar licensing body, as a place where someone lives.
- Address post as: the company or officer name, the street, and the postcode shown for that office. A different layout can delay a letter or mean we cannot match it to your account.
- You must stop using the address, including on websites, stationery, Companies House, and HMRC, when the service ends.
- We may refuse or end a service where the business looks unlawful, where the address would be misused, or where continuing would damage the building or our staff. Examples include unlicensed financial promotions, weapons, and pharmaceutical sales. We do not offer residence in Israel. The United Kingdom option includes the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Anywhere else, including India, follows the overseas path.
4. Identity checks
- A new company formation needs an identity check before any paid service is switched on. We ask for a photo identity document and a recent proof of address, uploaded from the dashboard.
- We may also ask for those documents, or for details of the company’s directors and activity, before we scan or forward post, or if something on the account does not match. If they are not provided, the service can stay inactive or be suspended.
- We review the copies you upload. We do not run a credit search as part of registration.
5. Letters
- Scanning stores a copy in your account so you can view it and download it for six months from the upload date. After six months the scan leaves your account. We keep the file. Forwarding posts the item to the address you gave us.
- A registered office covers statutory post for the company, such as Companies House, HMRC, the Pensions Regulator, and similar official letters. A director service address covers post for the named director. A business address covers ordinary business post up to the number of letters you bought.
- If you live outside the United Kingdom, only scanning is available. There is no mail forwarding on that path.
- A bank card, a cheque, or anything else we cannot usefully scan is posted on when your service includes forwarding. We do not take in parcels.
- If two accounts could match the same envelope, or the addressee is not on the account, we may return the item to the sender. Proof that something was posted is not proof that it reached the building.
- We may refuse an item that looks unlawful, dangerous, or like unsolicited advertising, and we may pass an item to a public authority where the law allows it.
6. Formation, filings, and accountancy
- Company formation is for a private company limited by shares, using the model articles, and only where the proposed name is acceptable to Companies House. We do not guarantee that a name will be accepted.
- A confirmation statement or accounts filing is carried out only for the package you bought, and only if you answer our questions in time for the deadline. Check the figures before you ask us to submit them. We may need a further fee if Companies House or HMRC requires another submission.
- Choosing “undecided” for accountancy keeps the address service and does not appoint us to prepare accounts.
- The dashboard shows a filing as “Due: Unknown” until a company number is saved. Reminder emails for a confirmation statement and for annual accounts start three days before the due date and continue until the filing is marked done. Those lead times are settings and can be changed.
7. Fees and payment
- Fees are in pounds and are payable before the service starts. Value added tax is added at the rate in our settings, currently 20%.
- You can pay by card, PayPal, or Direct Debit. On this demonstration site those payments are simulated. We store a payment reference and the last four digits, never the full card or account number. If you choose automatic renewal, that saved method is charged on the renewal date.
- One promotional code can be used on an order. Introductory codes apply at that checkout only. A referral code gives the buyer 10% off and adds credit of 10% of the order subtotal to the referrer’s account. You may also add funds (top-up) to your account credit and use that credit on a later order. When you apply account credit at checkout you receive an extra 10% discount on the order (after any promo), then the credit reduces the balance. Credit is not paid out in cash, and it is not applied after the order has already been paid.
- A price error on the site can be corrected before the service is provided. If the correction changes what you owe, we will tell you and you can cancel that order.
8. Renewal and suspension
- We email a renewal reminder seven days before the renewal date, and then daily until the service is renewed or ended. If automatic renewal is on and a saved method exists, we charge it on the renewal date and extend the service by a year.
- If you keep using the address after the renewal date without paying, we may suspend the service and tell Companies House, or anyone else listing the address, that it should no longer be used.
- We can suspend or reactivate a service from the admin tools. A suspension email is sent when a service is suspended.
- To end a service, open a ticket from the dashboard before the renewal date. Ending the service does not by itself file a change of address at Companies House.
9. Refunds
- An address fee can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of payment, the address has not been filed anywhere, and we have not scanned or forwarded a letter for you.
- Formation, a filing, or accountancy work is not refunded once we have started it. If we cannot carry out the work, we refund the fee for that work.
- After 14 days, fees are kept unless we failed to provide the service or the law requires a refund. Bank charges on a refund can be deducted. Unused letter allowances and account credit are not paid out in cash when an account ends.
- If we close a building, we will offer another office or refund the unused months of a fee already paid.
10. Limits on our responsibility
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
- We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or a missed filing deadline where you did not give us the information in time, or where Companies House or HMRC rejects a submission that was based on details you supplied.
- We are not liable for post that cannot be shown to have arrived, or for delay caused by the postal service, a public authority, or an event outside our control.
- Our total liability for a claim connected with a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service in the twelve months before the claim.
- The website is a guide to our services. It is not legal, tax, or accounting advice. You are responsible for your own Companies House and HMRC duties except for a filing you have paid us to submit.
11. The website and these terms
- The NEXTUK Consultant name, this website, and the way the dashboard is arranged belong to us. Using an address does not transfer any right in the building or in our brand.
- We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. If a change affects a service you have already paid for, we will email the address on your account. Carrying on with the service after that notice means you accept the change.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide disputes about them.
